A Death Cafe is a group-directed discussion of death with no agenda, objectives or themes. It is a discussion group rather than a grief support or counseling session.

The Bloomington chapter is hosted by Rick Clayton, a hospice chaplain and musician who enjoys playing harp and cello for his clients. It meets monthly at Morgenstern's.
