WTIU Receives 13 NATAS Lower Great Lakes Emmy Award Nominations

The Lower Great Lakes Emmy Awards recognize excellence in television among its members in Indiana, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.

WTIU received 13 Lower Great Lakes Chapter Emmy Award nominations today from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.

The Lower Great Lakes Emmy Awards recognize excellence in television among its members in Indiana, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.

WTIU series The Friday Zone and The Weekly Special earned a respective four and two nominations. Other honorees include locally-produced documentaries Beautiful by Design: The Indiana University Bloomington Campus, Clessie Cummins: Hoosier Inventor, Indiana’s Wild Landscape, and The Music Makers of Gennett Records and its companion concert film The Gennett Suite.

The winners will be announced June 15 at the 2019 Emmy Gala held at the Renaissance Hotel Cleveland. A list of WTIU’s nominees follows:
