Juniper Art Gallery is honored to present an exhibit of artwork by Bloomington’s beloved Nora Liell, who passed away on July 6, 2025.
Nora was a multimedia artist exploring themes of the sacred and profane feminine, natural beauty, and cosmic mystery. Through organic linework and bright color that rejects the chromophobic, minimalist traditions of modern design, her paintings express a profound love of the worlds within and without, while her sculptures and ceramics celebrate the joy of the simple and earthbound.
