We're running a Magpie Murders marathon before its sequel, Moonflower Murders, premieres September 15 at 9pm on WTIU! This beguiling mystery-within-a-mystery is adapted from Anthony Horowitz’s bestselling book by the author himself. With a solution that will both astonish and shock viewers, the plot of Magpie Murders revolves around the character Susan Ryeland, an editor who is given an unfinished manuscript of author Alan Conway’s latest novel, with little idea of how it will change her life.

Sunday, September 15

Episode 1 – 12pm
A dead mystery author. An unfinished book. His editor is soon involved in his suspicious death.

Episode 2 – 1pm
Was Alan Conway’s death actually murder? The missing last chapter may hold the secret.

Episode 3 – 2pm
Susan is in line to become the next CEO as the detective plot in Alan’s last novel unfolds.
