The Paintings of Patrick Donley

Today in the Limelight: The Paintings of Patrick Donley

The Wandering Turtle Art Gallery features acrylic artwork from Kentucky artist and musician Patrick Donley.

Owner and Visual Arts Director of the gallery, Jaime Sweany, explains why Donley's art is unique.

"This is the first time he's shown this body of work, which is large acrylic paintings that have very, very colorful and interesting images that are floating on the canvas. And you can't tell if they are falling or floating, so that's the reason he named it that. And there's a whole element of humor and play to this series of work that I find really, really appealing."

Patrick Donley's "Floating or Falling" acrylic painting exhibit is on display daily at the Wandering Turtle Art Gallery until May 18th.
