A Place For Film - Discussing Student Seven

Episode 81 - Discussing Student Seven

On this week's episode we're talking about student film Student Seven, written and directed by Sam Sher, and produced by our old pal Chelsey McKrill. The film centers on a group of students trying to complete a project at their school, where honor is valued above everything. Students must battle to prove their honor frequently. The creators describe it as Harry Potter meets Bruce Lee.

But we start with What Have You Seen Lately? Jason's been living in the real world and hasn't gotten a chance to see any films, but Andy is talking about a few things at the Latino Film Festival and finally saw The Hunger Games, so we go back around the table on the film.

We then begin our discussion of Student Seven. We dig into the cast, the crew, and how the team created the fight scenes and came up with the idea. It was a fun episode and a fascinating project. Tickets are available now.
