Indy Film Fest Interview - Joe Swanberg - Drinking Buddies
In this interview, I'm talking to Joe Swanberg, director of Drinking Buddies, which is opening the 2013 Indy Film Fest on July 18th at 7:30pm at the Indianapolis Museum of Art.
Drinking Buddies is about two co-workers at a brewery who find themselves attracted to each other despite their own committed relationships.
We discuss how he found his actors, how they reacted to his directing style, and how he developed his characters and story. I saw this film at SXSW and it was my favorite film there. If you've got a chance, make sure you get a look at this one.
