Interview With Damsels In Distress Director Whit Stillman
In this interview I get to sit down with Director Whit Stillman to talk about his new movie Damsels In Distress, opening in Indianapolis this weekend.
I saw the film earlier in the year when Stillman visited the IU Cinema and it immediately became my favorite film of the year. The film focuses on a group of young women at college trying to make the lives of their student body better, with sometimes strange consequences. The film is hilarious and touching, and has amazing performances from Greta Gerwig and Adam Brody.
In the interview we talk about the casting process, where the film came from in Stillman's life, and the dance influence of the film. Enjoy the interview.
