2024 budget hearings

The council gave its final approval Wednesday — more than a month after hearings on the $131 million budget began.

Council members on Wednesday approved a resolution to raise Nicole Bolden’s pay from her 2023 salary of $64,773 to $87,000 next year.

Nicole Bolden said she wants 2024 salary to be closer to that of other department heads.
