The Bloomington-Monroe County Metropolitan Planning Organization is gathering public input on the 2050 Metropolitan Transportation Plan for the Bloomington metropolitan area.

Traffic separation barriers will be installed next month along the East Third Street bicycle lane.

The project considers altering a portion of S.R. 45/10th Street between the State Road 46 bypass and the intersections at Pete Ellis Drive and Discovery Parkway.

The council could have overridden Hamilton's veto at a Wednesday meeting but decided not to vote.
