The season will run from Nov. 8 to Jan. 31 and allows licensed trappers to harvest one bobcat a year, to a statewide maximum of 250 bobcats.

Bobcats were taken off the Indiana endangered species list in 2005. Now, the SB 241's author, Sen. Scott Baldwin (R-Noblesville) said they could be growing out of control.
