The five-year plan will serve as a road map to increase Hoosier access to high-speed internet.

Mayor John Hamilton said a minimum of 85 percent of homes and businesses should be a part of the fiber access network by 2024.

The first Bloomington residents are expected to have high-speed internet by the end of January 2023, with the project wrapping up by the beginning of 2025.
