More than 300,000 people are expected to participate in some form of deer hunting in Indiana during the various hunting seasons that run through January 31.

Adults are not allowed to hunt during the two youth hunting weekends, they are designated strictly for kids.

Last year, hunters donated over 45,000 pounds of venison to those in need.
