Imagination Library

Indiana First Lady Maureen Braun was tasked with raising money to keep the Dolly Parton Imagination Library program alive statewide.

Under the previous budget, the state matched donations from local partners making the program budget 50% donations and 50% funds from the state. The proposed budget removes that funding altogether.

The program that provides free books every month to children from birth to age 5 was previously available in a little more than half the state.
