While Indiana’s new property tax plan will save most homeowners money, school districts are going to miss out on millions. Some schools may have to share their shrinking revenue with charter schools.  

Many residents have encouraged the state to keep the current Academic Honors diploma because it is already accepted by colleges and universities across the country. Educators fear colleges will not admit students who graduate with the new diplomas.

Teachers must sign a statement every year affirming they know they don’t have to join a union.
