Ten percent more people have traveled through IND in the first and second quarters of the year than in 2023 and 2019.

About 18,000 people are expected to go through security every day through Tuesday. The biggest travel rush will be felt between 4 and 6 in the morning.

Airport officials say they will be adding more features as the city’s first All-Star Game nears on Feb. 18.

The initial phase of the construction is expected to be completed this October, with two additional phases of construction in 2023 and 2024.
