Unemployment increases slightly in July as total employed Hoosiers reach 10-year high

The state’s 63.3 percent labor force participation rate is just below pre-pandemic levels. Employment numbers vary across localities and industries. Manufacturing, trade, transportation and utilities had significant year-over-year employment increases in July.
