Hoosiers who want to vote by mail in this fall’s election have to get in their application by the end of the day Thursday.

Rep. Tanya Pfaff (D-Terre Haute) said the bill seeks to solve a problem that doesn’t exist.

House Bill 1334 was approved by a House committee Wednesday.

Once you receive your ballot, you must return it to your local election administrator by 6 p.m. on Election Day. Even if you mail it before that, if it’s not received by then, it won’t count.
