    IU alumnus wins Nobel Prize
    Ethan Sandweiss
    Phillip H. Dybvig graduated from IU in mathematics and physics in 1976. He received the Nobel Prize for economics alongside former Federal Reserve chair Ben Bernanke and University of Chicago professor Douglas Diamond.
