House Bill 1007 would allow a company that manufactures small nuclear plants to claim a 20 percent tax credit — a minimum of $280 million.

The projects will reduce and avoid at least 43.7 million tons of greenhouse gases annually, equivalent to removing more than 10 million cars off the road every year.
