As Indiana universities react to anti-DEI policies from federal and state government, students and community members fear losing opportunities that level the playing field and build cultural connection in schools.

The federal government is pressuring public schools to end race-conscious programs and initiatives related to diversity, equity and inclusivity by Friday, but local institutions are silent.  Indiana University and Monroe County Community School Corp. officials haven’t shed light on their plans.

The event’s focus was self-reflection, and participants navigated their own mind as they traversed the canvas labyrinth.
