Richmond fire

The EPA has confirmed the presence of several toxic chemicals in the ruins of a Richmond warehouse.

The owner of the company alleged that the city of Richmond knew about unsafe conditions at the warehouse when the city bought it and assumed the risks.

The fire has been burning since Tuesday afternoon, sending harmful smoke into the air and debris that could contain asbestos onto the ground.

Fires from plastics burned at two warehouses formerly owned by My Way Trading, which was cited for several violations in the past including creating a fire hazard.
