The Columbus downtown riverfront redevelopment is getting a redesign. Mayor Mary Ferdon said since the project took off in 2016, costs have more than doubled.

The city sees the area as a front door that’s been neglected for far too long. Plans include more greenspace, trails, beautification, and recreational opportunities.
