Gov. Eric Holcomb named Rosenberg to the position Tuesday to replace Brad Chambers, who announced his departure from the agency last month.

Chambers’ departure fuels growing speculation that he will run in the Republican primary for the open governor’s seat.

Indiana was one of 34 states and the District of Columbia to be awarded funding in the first round.
