The slaughterhouse cleaning company that was employing more than 100 children to help sanitize dangerous razor-sharp equipment has continued to lose contracts since the investigation became public last fall.

The Environmental Protection Agency plans to update the water pollution standards for slaughterhouses — something that hasn’t been done in more than 15 years.
