SR-46

State Road 46 southeast of Ellettsville is a type of roadway called a “stroad”: a suburban fixture with the storefronts and housing of a street but the high speed and traffic of a road.

IDOT will be preforming repairs that require closing the eastbound thru lane and right-turn lane to College Avenue.

Council members say the city would struggle to extend its sewer system to the Edgewood Hills neighborhood. Additionally, it’s only road access is Lori Lane off S.R. 46.
