Bloomington plans to begin adding to its urban forest this month

In 2018, the city set aside $800,000 of its Bicentennial Bonds project to plant trees throughout Bloomington. That project is expected to begin this month.
City spending about $195,000 to plant more than 300 trees this spring

The city’s urban forester, Erin Hatch, said Bloomington is taking an environmental justice approach.
