Routine vaccinations in children slowed down when COVID-19 hit and doctors’ offices closed, but Indiana has yet to catch up to the rest of the nation.

All IU Health inpatient elective surgeries and procedures will be suspended starting Sept. 6. This comes after last week’s announcement that half of elective procedures would be suspended starting Aug. 30.

Indiana opened registration to all Hoosiers 16 and older on March 31. Following federal approval, the state expanded eligibility to Hoosiers 12 and older on May 13.
