As the May 18 deadline approaches for public input on Monroe County vote centers, the county’s election board is preparing multiple plans and costs to present to the county council.

Vote Centers would allow residents to vote at any Monroe County polling location, regardless of where they live.

The vote center model is an alternative to precinct-based voting. It allows voters to cast a ballot at a location of their choosing, regardless of their home address.
