Work is underway on a major renovation project at the Edinburg Premium Outlet mall.
The shopping destination plans to add new features, including a welcome archway, a food truck plaza and a playground area.
Kyleigh Haro is the mall’s Director of Marketing and Business Development. She says the physical renovations, plus new digital amenities, are intended to enhance the shopping experience.
“Something that we’re really excited about is adding digital directories and signage that will really help the shoppers navigate the center and also help them find their favorite stores, which is really what we’re here for when we’re shopping, we’re here to find those great deals," Haro says.
Haro says the mall has no current plans to add new stores. Earlier this year an Old Navy and Kate Spade outlet opened at Edinburgh.
Work on the project is set to be complete next year.
