Amazon.com plans to open a second warehouse in Plainfield -- its fourth location in central Indiana. The Seattle-based company expects the project to create "hundreds" of full-time and seasonal jobs this year. Officials have not released the exact location of the 900,000 square foot facility. Amazon already employs about 350 people at its existing Airtech Park distribution center. The company also has about 1,200 workers at a warehouse in Whitestown and opened a third location near Indianapolis International Airport this summer.
