Fresh Thyme Shifting Hours To Accommodate Shoppers At High Risk

Fresh Thyme grocery store is changing its hours in response to the coronavirus outbreak.

The grocer, which has two Bloomington locations, will begin exclusive hours for people at high risk of being infected with the virus.

Starting Sunday, the store will begin operating under the following schedule:

8 a.m. – 8 p.m. – regular daily store operating hours

6 a.m. – 8 a.m. - Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays for customers 60 and older

6 a.m. – 8 a.m. – Tuesdays and Thursday for healthcare personnel and first responders

Fresh Thyme says it’s also taking additional measures to keep customers safe including, more frequent cleaning and sanitization.

Kroger changed its hours last weekend to allow staff more time to stock shelves and sanitize stores. All locations are open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
