Indiana State Police say the reward for information leading to an arrest in the murders of two teen girls has increased to $50,000, thanks to a recent $9,000 donation from the office of Rep. Todd Rokita.
Abigail Williams, 13, and Liberty German, 14, were found in a wooded area near the Delphi Historic Trail, about a day after they were reported missing on Feb. 13. Police are investigating the case as a double homicide.
The FBI has placed approximately 6,000 electronic bill boards in 46 states requesting tips about the case. Police have circulated a photo of a man and a clip of audio of a man's voice they say were taken from one of the victim's cellphones. Investigators say the man in the photo is a suspect.
According to a statement released Thursday, police have received close to 4,000 tips in the case.
