The Indiana Department of Health closed its Optum Serve COVID-19 testing site in Bloomington this summer, but there are other testing sites. Here’s what you need to know if you want to get tested today.
Here's where to go and what to expect if you'd like to get tested for COVID-19 in Monroe County:
CVS Pharmacy Locations

Who can get tested?
Ages 3 and up are eligible. A parent or legal guardian has to be present for minors to get tested, and may have to assist with sample collection.
Payment: The test is free for people who are uninsured. The state dashboard says people who are insured won’t be charged any out-of-pocket costs, but should still bring their insurance card with them. Those without insurance should bring their Social Security number (you don’t need the card itself), driver’s license or state ID.
Find out if you meet the requirements and schedule a testing appointment with CVS here.
