COVID-19 vaccination sites around Bloomington will close Monday as authorities expect heavy snow to begin falling through Tuesday morning.
People with appointments at the MCHD Convention Center should receive a text message about closures, the Monroe County health department said. It said in a statement Sunday that staff would be contacting individuals over the next two to three days to reschedule.
IU Health Medical Arts on First Street will also close Monday and notify people with appointments by text or email, the department said.
People with appointments at those sites can call 211 for further assistance.
The testing site on Morton Street will also be closed but the health department did not provide information on how those appointments would be rescheduled.
It was also not clear if the Optum site at the Bloomington armory would be closed.

The National Weather Service is predicting heavy snowfall in the Bloomington area starting late Sunday and into early Tuesday.
The NWS expects total snow accumulations of eight to 11 inches in portions of central, east central, south central, southeast, southwest and west central Indiana.
The snow is expected to begin about 7 p.m. Sunday and continue until 7 a.m. Tuesday. Due to expected snow and cold temperatures, the Monroe County Covid-19 Vaccine and Testing sites will be closed on Monday.
