Indiana’s seven-day all-test positivity rate continues to decline and is now at its lowest point since the early pandemic, according to the Indiana Department of Health.
The IDOH reported Thursday 962 new cases and 32 additional confirmed deaths along with a 3.4.% positivity rate.
This brings the state’s total cases to 664,446 and the confirmed death toll to 12,231.
The virus in Monroe County also continues to wane. Monday’s numbers peg the seven-day all-test positivity rate at 0.5%, with just 16 new cases and no deaths reported.
And as of Monday, 1,061,173 Hoosiers have received the first dose of the vaccine, with 633,123 now fully vaccinated. That means 9.4% of the state has been fully vaccinated against the coronavirus.
In Monroe County, 20,859 people have received the first dose, with 13,264 people fully vaccinated.
