There’s still no music at the Brown County Music Center, but starting Monday, there are COVID-19 vaccinations available at the venue.
The music center in Nashville has served as a testing facility since August. Today, it will also distribute the vaccine.
“When the vaccines began, they were administering about 200 per week. It has now ramped up to more than 700 per week,” Brown County Music Center Executive Director Christian Webb said in a press release. “Our venue happens to be very conducive to allowing both (testing and vaccines) to function. We are very happy and proud that we can play such an important part in the community during this pandemic.”
Register to get the vaccine or for the test at ourshot.in.gov or by calling 211. Both are available at the venue by appointment only.
Once at the music center, people will check-in at station along the driveway in. They will then be directed where to park and enter the venue. People must wait 15 minutes after getting their shot to ensure no reactions.
Like music venues around the nation, the Brown County Music Center closed its doors to concerts last March.
