Indiana University is launching a  program to provide students from low-income households with services like college application assistance and test preparation.

The program, IUBound, will connect students from eighth grade through college graduation with support services using a $500,000 grant from the American Talent Initiative.

Other services IU will provide include financial aid counseling, tutoring, and campus visits.

As of 2023, Indiana students in seventh and eighth grade who qualify for free and reduced meal programs at their schools are automatically enrolled in the state’s Twenty First Century Scholars program.
