The University Orchestra, conducted by Orcenith Smith, will open its 141st concert season on Sept. 14 at the DePauw University Green Center! Featured on the program is "Three Sketches of Unblemished Earth," a lyrical exploration of nature by Los Angeles-based composer Jordan Jinosko. Inspired by her experiences hiking the Appalachian Trail, the composition creates a vivid portrait of iconic American landscapes through music.
