Rewind: A Journey to Motown and Beyond is a captivating solo performance featuring the talented Jerome Collins of famed a cappella group Straight No Chaser. This show is a nostalgic throwback to the roots of music, paying homage to the legendary sounds of Motown and R&B. Jerome takes the audience through electrifying renditions of timeless hits from some of the world’s most iconic musicians and renowned artists. With a set list that includes songs from legends like Marvin Gaye, Aretha Franklin, Sam Cooke, and Stevie Wonder, Jerome’s soulful delivery ensures an unforgettable experience.

The Indiana Wind Symphony’s “Chanson Française” concert presents a complete miniature symphony characterized by elegance, delicacy, and sweetness. The first movement begins with a slow introduction reminiscent of Haydn, followed by an *Allegretto* in sonata form. The second movement highlights the addition of a solo flute. The scherzo that follows is based on a hunting theme and leads into a lively finale in the fourth movement, bringing the symphony to a spirited close.

Charles Gounod composed *Petite symphonie pour neuf instruments à vent* ("Little Symphony for Winds") in 1885. Commissioned by his friend Paul Taffanel—flute professor at the Paris Conservatoire—Gounod wrote the piece for a wind octet plus an added flute part in honor of Taffanel. The work draws inspiration from Mozart’s wind serenades and stands as a hallmark of French Romantic wind repertoire.

The concert will also feature chamber ensembles performing additional works by French composers and music from the same period.

Join DePauw flute professor Tierney McClure and pianist Claudia Santana Núñez for a trip through time celebrating flute music from France. This 50-minute program, spanning the Classical era to present day, features works by Joseph de Bologne, George Enescu, Darius Milhaud and Yuko Uebayuashi. Learn about France’s transformative influence on flute making and playing along the way, while enjoying lunch from The Whisk and savoring some of the rich repertoire inspired by French culture and innovation.

Join leading experts at the Pediatrics and Neonatology Conference to explore the latest advancements in child healthcare, pediatric research, and neonatal medicine. The event covers innovative treatments, clinical practices, and emerging pediatric technologies.

Includes video screening of Miss McDonald's performances throughout her life and personal accounts from former students and other harpists. Platinum Entertainment Group and The Touring company are excited to present the highly-anticipated return of the Bronx-bred hip-hop artist A Boogie Wit da Hoodie live at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall on Saturday, April 11. This show promises to be an unforgettable night of hip-hop and entertainment.

“Suite Dreams” is a concert showcasing a blend of sweet treats and dances, featuring compositions from various artists, notably composer Steven Bryant’s piece titled “Suite Dreams.” This work mainly reinterprets the inverted chaconne melody found in Gustav Holst's “First Suite in E-Flat,” presenting it with a dreamlike quality, as if fragmented memories of the original drifted across the stage.
