Louisa's Garden Exhibition Opening
Louisa's Garden Exhibition Opening
Brave. Complex. Cherished.
Meet Louisa Wylie Boisen (1839–1930) through a garden of student and staff exhibits.
Join us for an opening event celebrating Wylie House Museum’s newest exhibition, Louisa’s Garden. Developed by this year’s Sarah L Luckay Fellow, students, and museum staff, this vibrant collection of physical and digital exhibits—rooted in historical artifacts—explores the ways the eldest daughter of an IU professor was brave, complex, and is still cherished today.
Wander the Wylie House Museum and Morton C. Bradley Jr. Education Center and meet the student creators and the partners that cultivated this dynamic exhibition.
Drop in and stay for a special Garden and Gallery talk in the education center at 6 p.m.
Light snacks and beverages will be provided.
Special thanks to our Indiana University Bloomington partners—including the Herbarium, Sage Collection, Eskenazi School of Art + Design, and the Geography Department—for helping this exhibition grow, and for participating in this event.
Free parking options are available for visitors.
