At least seven pieces of art worth at least $5,000 have been stolen since March from buildings on IU’s campus, according to IUPD reports obtained by WFIU/WTIU News.

Two of the pieces are worth $1,000 each, according to police. Most of the stolen pieces are noted as framed art in the police reports.

The art was stolen from the Godfrey Graduate and Executive Education Center, the Chemistry building, the Indiana Memorial Union and the O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs.

IMU is the only location where police reports mention video showing suspects.

The other cases do not have suspects and an IUPD spokesperson said she couldn’t say if there have been arrests or whether police believe the same people are responsible for the thefts.
