Great Performers

In this unconventional film about music, the star of the show isn't any one performer but rather a violin, whose uncanny origins and three-hundred-year life story traverses multiple performers. Some of these fictional performers, however, have their roots in reality, and a real-life violin superstar also had a hand in the picture, both recording the sound for the violin solos and occasionally acting as a "hand double" for the on-screen performers
