budget cuts

Employees at the Indiana Economic Development Corporation, Indiana Destination Development Corporation, Governor's Workforce Cabinet, Indiana Commission for Higher Education, Indiana Department of Education, Indiana School for the Deaf and Indiana State Library were laid off this week.

Cuts include the vice president for student affairs, the executive director of diversity, inclusion, and belonging, and the university communication director.

Gov. Mike Braun used his first State of the State address to make the case for his policy priorities including property tax reform and addressing high health care costs.
