Nearly 30 women have settled their claims in federal lawsuits after a security breach at the Clark County jail in late 2021. The final plaintiff, who says she was raped and became pregnant, reached an agreement last month.

Former Clark County Sheriff Jamey Noel faces charges of theft, official misconduct, ghost employment and obstruction of justice.

Criminal investigations tied back to four people, all allegedly involved in sexual acts with a cognitively disabled woman.

The federal cases were filed on behalf of multiple women who say they were assaulted and harassed over several hours in October 2021
