Lt. Gov. Micah Beckwith’s rescheduled town hall overlaps with the Monroe County Election Board hearing to create vote centers, and the local Democratic Party says that’s no coincidence.

The Monroe County Election Board board started to go through provisional ballots Friday at noon and validated 42 of the 195 cast on Election Day.

This year, in-person early voting will take place at the old NAPA Auto Parts building at 302 S. Walnut Avenue beginning April 5.
