Bloomington Police are searching for information on a vehicle that hit a Bloomington woman found dead in a ditch on Walnut Street Pike Sunday.

The City of Bloomington says it will clear a homeless camp behind the Wheeler Mission on the city’s west side Thursday.

Additional information was released by the Monroe County court about the man who was found dead last week.

The draft legislation was widely seen as an effort to prevent homeless individuals from camping on sidewalks, streets and roads.

The resolution is non-binding and serves only as a recommendation for the council to vote on an ordinance of the same nature.

Nearby business owners oppose the expansion and say there has been an increase in crime in recent years.
