The public event is at 5:30 p.m., Oct. 23 at the John Waldron Arts Center.

Nine buildings on the former IU Health Bloomington Hospital site will be demolished starting Friday.

The plat, or map showing the divisions of a piece of land, covers a roughly 11-acre section of the western part of the Hopewell site.

The nonprofit will focus on housing in the new Hopewell neighborhood, along with arts and technology initiatives.
