Indiana University Greek Life events are back, after a three-week pause in March. Greek Life leaders last paused events in 2021, because sororities noticed increasing sexual assault and demanded change.

Bernstein joined IU this year as a journalist-in-residence and will come to the university for several public discussions. He visited Bloomington in June for IU’s Granfalloon festival and will return in November.

Trustee Jeremy Morris teased the new policy at the June 13 Board of Trustees meeting. He told the Board it needed time to consult with stakeholders but had to act fast to get it passed before August.
