Board president April Hennessey said that even though any changes wouldn’t likely take place until the 2025-26 school year, she doesn’t want to leave the public — and teachers — hanging.

Before the Wednesday meeting, Hauswald’s contract ran through June 30, 2026. Now his term will end after the 2023-2024 academic school year. He will be paid his 2024-2025 salary – $228,926.31.

Superintendent Jeff Hauswald will leave the district at the end of the school year.

Any decisions on school schedule changes in the future will no longer be left up to superintendent Jeff Hauswald. The board grabbed control of that responsibility.
